Know how to listen. Because it is only in listening that you begin to understand. Listen to your own voice, and listen to the silence and the loudness of every person around. Let these sounds teach you. That the other person is as vulnerable as you, as wanting to be dignified as you are, and as needing warmth against the coldness of society.
In listening well,
you would know
what to say.
Then, your talk would win the hearts of people, not seek false triumph over useless verbal contentions. It should not be your aim, if you are to be a kind creature, to always win over disputes. Because your main dispute is with yourself. You have to mend that, first off.
When that happens, change is on the way for you. Listen well.
